Tested updates
Core, theme, plugin and app updates checked on a copy first, so an update never takes the live site down.
A business website in Ireland usually fails quietly. A plugin falls a few versions behind, a contact form stops sending, an SSL certificate is not renewed, or the backup everyone assumed was running turns out to be months old.
None of these are visible from the home page, so they tend to be found by a customer first. By then the fix is bigger, slower and more expensive than it needed to be.
Regular website maintenance is the routine that catches these problems early. It is not exciting work, which is exactly why it is worth handing to someone whose job is to do it properly every month.
Every website maintenance plan we run in Ireland includes the same six basics, sized to the website it looks after.
Core, theme, plugin and app updates checked on a copy first, so an update never takes the live site down.
Stored away from your hosting, with restores tested rather than assumed to work.
We get an alert when the site stops responding and start looking before your customers notice.
Malware scans, login protection and a watch on vulnerable plugins and outdated software.
Regular measurements so pages stay fast, with fixes flagged when something slows down.
An agreed allowance for small changes: new text, images, opening hours or a fresh page.
Every platform needs looking after in its own way. The maintenance plan follows the system your website actually runs on.
| Platform | What we focus on | Typical risk without care |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress & WooCommerce | Core, theme and plugin updates, security, checkout tests | Outdated plugins and conflicts after updates |
| Shopify | Theme changes, apps, integrations, storefront checks | App clutter slowing pages and breaking features |
| Custom-built sites | Framework and server updates, deployments, logs | Unpatched dependencies nobody is watching |
There is no honest one-size price, because a five-page brochure site and an online shop with forty plugins need very different amounts of care. The main factors are the platform, the number of plugins or apps, whether the site takes payments, how many changes you need each month and how fast you need a response.
We review your site before quoting and then agree a fixed monthly maintenance price in writing, the same way for businesses in Dublin, Cork or a small town in Mayo. You know what is included, what counts as a larger job, and how those larger jobs are quoted, before the plan starts.
Email or WhatsApp from anywhere in Ireland with what you need changed. A screenshot helps but is not required.
You hear back that the request is logged and whether it fits in your monthly allowance.
Small changes are made and checked. Anything larger gets a separate written quote first.
Every change appears in the monthly summary, together with the routine maintenance.
You can run updates yourself, and many owners do. The difference is testing, backups you can actually restore, someone watching when you are busy, and a clear record of what changed. If you would rather keep it in-house, our free health check will at least show you where the risks are.
Send us your website address. We will run a free health check and suggest a monthly plan with a fixed written price.
